Peter White is a third generation farmer on a piece of land in Woorinen North, Victoria, Australia, that was acquired over 100 years ago. Originally grain was the main crop produced on the farm. In the year 2000, after working for 30 years in the local stone fruit industry, Peter decided to transition the farm into growing stone fruit. Since then Peter has been able to establish himself as one of the premium stone fruit growers in Victoria and has expanded the property to an area of 150 acres. The orchard specializes in growing plums, peaches and nectarines for both the domestic and international market. The produce is quality assured under “Fresh Care” and is accredited by the Australian government to sell in the international export market.
